Dave Sumner, inventor of The Turkey Dave Footrest™, is a resident of Fall Creek, Wisconsin and has been an avid hunter and fisherman all of his life.

The Turkey Dave Footrest came to be, after many long hunts and sore backs. Dave noticed that he was very uncomfortable during and after a hunt, if he sat without a sturdy support for his feet. So he designed a foldable, portable rest that can be taken on every hunt.

Dave is also the creator of the infamous ice fishing lure, the "Flirty Girty™". He can be found on the ice of local lakes, or in a tree bowhunting, when it's not turkey season.
